Led by Sifu James Lui since 2005 and based across South Perth, Brentwood, and Applecross, the Western Australia Choy Lee Fut Kung Fu, Lohan Qigong and Lion Dance Association carries a lineage dating to the 1960s in Perth. The school follows the Chan Family Choy Lee Fut system under Grand Master Chen Yong Fa and integrates traditional Southern Chinese lion dance as an inseparable component of its martial arts training. Sifu Lui brought his CLF lion dance expertise from Sydney when he relocated to Perth in 1992, merging with Sifu Frank Riggio's existing school to form the current association. Part of an international CLF network operating in 19 countries.
