Founded in Sydney's Chinatown in 1977, Jin Wu Koon is one of Australia's oldest and most internationally recognised competitive lion dance troupes. Crowned 'Western Lion King' at the 2016 Genting World Lion Dance Championships, the troupe is renowned for its spectacular pole lion dance, with performers jumping up to three metres in height. The association takes a philosophy of combining art, culture and sport, offering both traditional floor routines and highly acrobatic pole performances, and has performed for high-profile corporate clients across Australia.
