About
Hung Hing Lion Dance Association (洪興醒獅社) is a Dandenong South-based non-profit distinguished by its dual specialisation in both traditional Southern lion dance and unicorn dance (qilin), with a lineage tracing to Singapore. In 2019 the team won the Unicorn Freestyle World Championship, and in 2025 were crowned Australian Traditional Lion Dance National Champions — making them one of the most decorated active troupes in Victoria. The association offers free classes to new members of all ages.
